DNW

DNW¹⁾ stands for “Do Not Want”. It is a list of things you'd rather not receive as a gift. You may think it's silly to say that you don't want scat fic, until you receive a surprise 1000 word scat fic in your inbox.

This page will be used to elaborate and clarify DNWs in my letter, written in a non-judgemental tone. This is simply my personal preference for gifts.

I may play with these subjects in my own art, or with an artist/writer I trust. It's sorta like, I might eat pizza that my wife cooks just for me, but I might be allergic to it when other people cook it with their own ingredients.

No unrequested spoken audio by itself.

This includes podfic, reading something out loud, and ASMR.

Spoken audio is okay if it's part of music, videos, or animation.

DNWs that are not violent or sexual.

No unrequested conflict centered on bigotry over race, religion, LGBTQ+ identities, ableism.

This means I don't want the story to focus on stuff like racism, anti semitism, coming out, gender dysphoria, homophobia, transphobia, hate crimes, and so on.

Mentions of the above are fine. I like when it adds to the historical flavor of text, for example, if the story is set in the 19th century or whatever so most normies aren't quite as woke. I like when it's “in-character” or absurd, like a character who's not so bright doesn't realize that he's gay for having sex with men.
I just don't want the main conflict to be like, someone shunned by their family or beat up cuz they're some sort of identity. Or people to be calling each other hateful slurs.

If the requested setting centers on bigotry, like during a war or civil rights activism, please take the specific exchange letter I wrote into account.

No specific named war/disaster/disease scenarios like Covid-19, 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, etc.

If it's a war-themed universe, like TF2 or Fallout, it's fine to mention events that have happened in universe.

Current events are nebulously defined as anything I am personally old enough to remember. I am mostly fine with events before the 1990's. The Gulf War is on thin ice!!!

No established romantic relationships (think boyfriend, husband, etc) between the main relationship unless otherwise requested.

The characters can kiss and hug and bung and have been ambiguous life partners for decades. Like Bert and Ernie, or Frog and Toad. But for some reason I do not enjoy concrete labeled dating or marriage.

No unrequested reversal of one-sided attraction.

Example: I like X character with a one-sided romantic crush to their teacher. I do not want the teacher to be romantically attracted to X. This includes reciprocating X's advances, or complete reversal of the teacher being one-sided attracted to X.

The text below may be violent or sexually explicit. Proceed with caution.

No unrequested scat, farts, or piss kink.

Some unsanitary aspects are to be expected with gore and medical subjects. Deer guts DO explode with poo if you step on them. Just don't make it sexual style.

I am fine with vomit, blood, pus, and bile.

No unrequested bestiality. That means sex with mundane animals.

Monsterfucking is fine. Aliens, werewolves, xenomorphs, mythical creatures, dragons, and robots are fine.
Just no cats, dogs, horses, or other mundane real animals.

If the character can shapeshift into a mundane animal, please no sex while they're a cat or dog or whatever.

No unrequested daddy kink, or any sexual mention of the term “daddy”.

Even if the character IS a father, please use any other term like “dad” or “father” if you must use a term in a sexual context.

“Daddy” as a mocking or humorous term is ok.

No stuffing or feederism kink.

I like characters expressing affection with cooking and food. I like cannibalism.

But I do not want extreme weight gain, forced feeding, and sexual emphasis on fullness and bustin' bellies.

No omegaverse and alpha/beta/omega dynamics.

This includes other fan universes like cakeverse with similar biological determinism.

I am fine with individual aspects of heat, pregnancy, sex pollen, part-animal/monster characters, stupid animalistic yaoi sexo. But I don't care much for the world-building, societal, and gendered aspects of the omegaverse label.

No reversed sexual positions.

If I like Top!A and Bottom!B, I do not want to see Bottom!A and Top!B.

• “Top” is being defined as doing any penetration. So penis, fingers, toys, and object insertion.

• “Bottom” is defined as receiving the penetrating. So getting junk stuffed in their mouth, vagina, anus, or other orifice.

No reversal on submissive and dominant either if specifically noted. I am one of those FREAKS who doesn't think all tops are doms, or all bottoms are subs.

This only goes out the window if I specify that I like the characters to be vers/switch.

No explicit sexual activity with characters under the age of 18 (the age of majority in the USA).

Explicit acts can be implied, part of a character backstory, or fade to black. I'd rather not read a detailed sex scene with underage characters.

Kissing or whatever that doesn't involve touching genitals is fine.
