John Redcorn's Sergio Valente Jeans
Was watching KOTH as is canon typical of Shane and I. I was intrigued by a random pop culture reference in episode, Peggy's Headache, s3e3.
Nancy: I have my reasons..
Peggy: Yes, and I've seen those reasons packed into his Sergio Valente jeans.
It's a surface level “John Redcorn has a big penis or nice ass” joke (again with Nancy's ass obsession!), but diving into the particulars of the brand a character wears is fun cuz, well, there's a different kinda man that wears Levis versus like… True Religion or something.
Dream Diary: DaleJohn
Today's dream was a yaoiful dream set in prison.
For some reason Dale and John were in a prison cell. Dale was putting his weiner in John's butt, and John was just leaning on his elbows on the prison cot. The prison guards and other prisoners saw them doing that and were like “holy shit it's the alpha male, don't fuck with them”.
And the next day John and Dale walked out of the prison cell to the yard or cafeteria, holding hands with each other. And no one said shit to them and gave Dale free cigarettes cuz he was the alpha male. But Dale just assumed everyone was being nice instead of being afraid of getting turned out.

Dream Diary: Vulpes
Had a dream that I was trying to convince people that Vulpes Inculta from Fallout New Vegas was a bottom. I was playing through Fallout for them and showing them the endings. But the endings in my dream were not the real endings, they were weird shit like “even if you pay off everyone and persuade them to abandon Caesar, Vulpes stays loyal!!!”. And somehow that was proof to me in my dream…
I did enjoy creepy uncle Caesar x Vulpes back in Da Day 10 years ago when I was just a wee turtle fujoshi. Now I've developed my tastes more, and I'm older uke pilled. Hmmm. Haven't explored Vulpes much these days. The most recent fic I enjoyed with Vulpes in it is The Initiation of the Fox, which is a bunch of girls molesting him. In that case it's more of a dom/sub thing than top/bottom, and I def want Vulpes to be submissive to a bunch of girls because that's freakin' cool. But generally I am very 👁️ monkey side-eyes to most oc x canon or self-insert x canon pairings for Vulpes (or really any male character) because every writer writes the male character as a smirking daddy dom. Cut that out! Stop being so proud of your dang penis.
The only pairings I'm have interest in right now for Vulpes are Caesar and Joshua, but then in fic both Caesar and Joshua turn into daddy doms 😔 I guess in that case I'd prefer Vulpes to be more dominant??? Though I don't want to put anything in Caesar's butt let alone see his penis… and I want Joshua to be a mean evil bottom too. SIGH if only they could all get ovipositioned by giant mutant Cazadors, we wouldn't have to think so hard! But alas, most normal humans prefer human/human yaoi rather than horrible body horror bug live birth.
This goes back to the fujoshi's gambit, where in straight boy x girl fanworks Vulpes is a daddy dom, but in gay boy x boy stuff Vulpes's voice actor's roles are often bottom zoned due to his lisping feminine lilt. What the fuck, and now I learn that Vulpes's voice actor is involved in Linux and operating system shit???? No wonder he can do such an evil twink voice.
Blaugust 27: Heritage in King Of The Hill
King of the Hill is a satire of middle-class white US-American culture, and as such has a few token “minority” side-characters to reflect the main chararacters' stereotyped views. The Souphanousinphones are the Asian characters that appear the most, and John Redcorn is the Native American character who appears the most. Indeed, he's the only Native American character that acknowledges his heritage because the other ones (Joseph and Kate) are both John's kids and don't even know that they're John's kids! Which is actually quite sadly true to real life, because many kids don't know their family's heritage as they're subsumed into middle-class white US-American culture.
The Souphanousinphones are explicitly stated to be Laotian, with Kahn and Minh having a good bit of real life history informing them1). This is interesting because Laos is a bit of a lesser-known Asian country, and that's lampshaded by Hank's asking ignorantly “So are ya Chinese, or Japanese”? Connie was born in the USA, but is still connected to Laotian culture compared to John's kids, due to her parent's stereotypical fanaticism for good grades and immigrating for a better life/“the American Dream”. I was fascinated by this tidbit as a kid growing up, because it was so rare to see Asian characters in cartoons let alone Laotian characters.
I was also fascinated by the inclusion of John Redcorn as a character, because as an Asian kid growing up I thought it was cool when characters were not only explicitly not white, BUT ALSO had long black hair CUZ I had (have?) long black hair! John is mostly referred to as Native or Indian, with not much more provided about tribes or family. It's likely that the showrunners, being middle-class white US-Americans, didn't place that importance on specifics, and the character of John Redcorn isn't 100% clear on his own heritage. But today I'm here to autistically artistically connect the little crumbs of information we get about side characters with about 30 total minutes of dialogue. Because I love you.

I finally updated the web version of JUST GORLY THINGS (my lesbian fujoshi webcomic galarian darminatan zen mode) with the 11ty version. Yippee. Better to have it up now and slowly add the old comics, than wait 5 years for me to upload all the old comics at once. Maybe it'll be a good excuse to post the old comics online again and force people to look at them once more. Hey there's a new page on there… I haven't uploaded that yet to social media!!!
I'm also having fun pre-emptively writing my exchange letter for whim's 10 Items or Less exchange! I always worried that I yap too much in exchange letters… maybe if I host it on this wiki I can let the links to the talking, people can choose to click on the links to what I like about genderbends or decapitation on their own time.
Blaugust 25: Thunderbird and RSS
Thunderbird is a free, open source e-mail manager.
Why use Thunderbird over just logging into gmail or whatever? It has extra features for compiling RSS feeds, and also IRC chat. I am interested in those extra features so I'm not so reliant on google, discord, and siloed social medias, all of which are trying to push stupid LLM genAI shit on me. I also wish to separate my e-mails (which is mostly work stuff) from my browser habits (which is mostly “fun” stuff like social media and watching videos). And I want to see all my emails from all my inboxes at once.
I'm using a fork called Betterbird, mostly so I can have fun rainbow indicators for my emails. And cuz the vanilla Thunderbird lags a lot on my computer with my 50000 emails. For the purposes of this page, Betterbird and Thunderbird are the same thing and I'll be referring the program as Thunderbird mostly.

Spent all day today moving furniture around the house. Feel motivated to keep cleaning. Really happy with what we have in our room right now, it will help a lot with art-making and shipping orders!
Blaugust 23: Linux woes
Shane's mom got a laptop from some guy at her work. It's an HP Pavilion 7, which was manufactured 12 years ago and still has Windows 7, and I figured it'd be a good test subject to install Linux on. Since Windows is ending their support for the operating system from 7-10, it's recommended to breathe some new life into older computers by installing Linux. Especially if you're like me and hate Windows 11 and all the non-con genAI cortana gemini whatever shit.
But despite every tech nerd online saying “Linux is so easy to install even my 7 year old nephew can do it, why can't YOU, you stupid ugly asshole???”, I have failed on my first day of attempting to install Linux! Yippee! There's something wrong with the laptop or the USBs we got. I documented everything I did on that drafts page so I can look back and be like “wow!”, and maybe it will help someone else who is using the same oldass laptop as me.
Blaugust 22: Ode to a fella, John Redcorn's playlist edition
I found some of the John Redcorn playlists online a bit lacking, only being 10 songs long or missing crucial things like Nancy's ringtone or Winger. So I compiled my own playlist from this reddit post, this youtube comment, tune find, and the wiki for King of The Hill.
This playlist is a combination of John's music that he listens to, the music him and Nancy have sex to, the other character's boomer tastes, and song/band references. It's mostly 70's-80's dad rock. Now, what DOES dad rock mean to John Redcorn's character?
Blaugust 21: Ode to a fella (baby daddy edition)
Welcome back to Ode to a Fella! We left off yesterday after talking about the traits of fellas with long hair, strong nose, and big boobs. Let's get into the Baby Daddy part of the fellas! The fellas being a specific type of cartoon fella that includes John Redcorn, Nathan Explosion, Brock Samson, and Wolverine.
I spent last night watching some older episodes of KOTH with my good friend Shane, specifically the Big Mountain Fudgecake episode. As a result, I drew some band yaoi of John Redcorn and Dale Gribble. They're in a band together, how could I not? And John puts on some leather pants and unbuttons his silk shirt for their debut in the episode :)
