What: Vendor fair next to live music, drag, and blood wrestling

Expenses: Table was $25 for a 10×10 ft outdoor space. Free parking. Paid for one night hotel. Had a food truck.

Provided: Spot in parking lot, two wristbands for me and my partner to go inside and see the bands

• the vibes are immaculate if you're queer, into sexy stuff, heavy metal, and wrestling. It just feels nice to have a place in da SOUTH where you can be very blue hair and pronouns and kinky.
• the crowd was on the smaller side, but enthusiastic cuz you know why you're there! most people bought smaller things like stickers and prints, but they're into weird and diy art and make good conversation.
• did a trade with another vendor of my art for a BUNCH of heavy metal vinyl records
• the MC did shoutouts for individual vendors throughout the day, asked people to come up on mic and show off what they bought, and had vendors come up and promote ourselves on the mic LMAO
• intermittent wrestling matches made a good break for us to clean up the tables and count stuff

• the wrestlers had to hose off the blood after their matches and their water ran into our booth specifically 😭 we had a little bench for customers to sit at while I drew for them, and we had to pack up cuz it got wet.
• all the stuff I listed as pros can be cons if you don't like sluts or loud music or blood wrestling

Yes! If only it were closer to me, I'd go to Chapel of Bones every month to vend and hang out since I already go there for concerts :p def less of a money making event, and more of a “have fun and make back gas and food and hotel costs at the same time” kinda thing

They are having their main SLUTFEST in august or september so I gotta ask Shane if he's up to more travelling lololol
