Blaugust 15: Rubber gloves
Rubber gloves rock for all purposes. Breathing masks also rock. I curse everyone who made fun of me for wearing them! I would like to practice writing low stakes blog posts. So here we go.

13: FIP 2
The symptoms of FIP that I am familiar with are:
- Extreme lethargy
- Inability to stand up - they just crumple
- Wanting to eat and drink, but just sitting in front of the food and water bowl
- Nausea, vomiting, diahreaa
- Jaundice - which can manifest in clouded yellow eyes when their eyes are usually another color.

Research/treatment for FIP is rather recent, and many countries have not approved the medication yet. But there is a very good 95% chance of the cat surviving if you recognize the signs and manage to find the medication, especially prescribed by a vet who is up to date on FIP research.

Blaugust 12: FIP
We are dealing with our cat's Baby Bear's health issues right now. We have not gone to the vet yet, because they are not open until Monday. But we're certain it's FIP, because that's what 5 out of 6 of his siblings died of.

I wrote this post on the car ride home after picking up medicine. But then my phone deleted everything by closing all my tabs. So here I am writing it again. All we can do right now is wait for the medicine to hopefully take effect. And maybe if your cat is having strange symptoms that the vet says is incurable, this post can help you.

Blaugust 11: 11ty for webcomics
I'm trying to catch up, ok? I'm all fucked up about everything all around the world, and my cat's showing early signs of FIP. So while waiting for medical assistance to respond, I found a nifty port of the Rarebit webcomic template to 11ty via Cartoonist Coop's resources.
I wrote down what I did as I did it, with screenshots, on a ⭐new page documenting how I got eleventy started for my webcomic.⭐

I'm cope-maxxing with the fact that our canopy broke in the middle of the night because of surprise rain. So I'll talk about the set-up we're trying to do this weekend for Slutfest.

Blaugust 08: Art convention shit
Bruh we need to collectively boycott bigass conventions like Galaxy Con and Anime Expo until they fix their shit. We can't be scared of being blacklisted or getting tomatoes thrown at us for pointing out explicitly awful fucking behavior.
Blaugust 06+07: Booru gallery tweaks
I'm having fun with my booru! I'm slowly uploading art, along with the help of some of the friends I made private accounts for. I'm also uploading art as people remind me that it exists and they want to see it - see this message I got today about if I've ever drawn Venture Brothers fanart. Oh boy do I.
The booru works well out of the box, I just have to make a couple of tweaks for my own tastes and for mobile view.
