I will use today to talk about the basic blogging setup I have on Dokuwiki.

1. First, you need Dokuwiki installed. My e-lord Kat set it up for me. So I can't help you with that. I believe there are web hosts that you can pay that have click-to-install setups for you, such as yunohost.

2. With Dokuwiki installed, go to your admin panel, then your extension manager. Download the following extensions:

• Blog
• Tag
• Discussion (it may be bundled into the blog extension already)

3. Make a page called “blog”.

4. This is the syntax I typed into my page and saved for my particular set-up.

It shows a cut of the first paragraph, before the second heading, with a “read more” cut. It also shows the tags you used. And it places the “new post” option on top of your page.

5. Make a new post!
