What I post

I will post anything and everything that pops into my mind. I don't really want to separate my interests into 10 different blogs. You're gonna be getting garden blogging, along with cat pics, historical cannibalism research, and my spongebob porn.

I try to add alt text to as much of my own art as possible. Really crappy private posts may not get alt text.

I tend not to reply to posts by people I don't know or follow. I may attempt to answer public questions that say in the post that they're looking for answers.

Content Warnings

  • I will use Content Wrappers/Warnings and tags for things that the platform requires, such as cartoon gore and explicit sexual content.
  • I will use Content Wrappers/Warnings and tags for things I would not want other people to read over my shoulder in public. Such as war, politicians, complaining, violence, assault, male presenting nipples, and many more.
  • I don't use CWs for animals, bugs, or food. Those are things I regularly post about, so I will use hashtags and keywords on those posts. Please mute those keywords as needed.
  • I don't post live action porn or IRL gore. I might share nude photography occasionally.

You should feel free to follow, unfollow, and block my accounts at anytime. I don't care about breaking mutuals or whatever.

Boundaries

DNIs

“A boundary is something you have control over with a clear action you are capable of taking as a consequence.

“Don’t talk to me if you’re a Nazi” — This is not a boundary, this is a demand and it’s not something you have any control over. Nazis can and will initiate contact with whoever they want.

“If you talk to me and I find out you’re a Nazi, I will block you” — A boundary. A clear cause and effect that YOU have control over.”

DNI (Do Not Interact lists) are common online. But there are plenty of people I would prefer not to interact with, but I have no control over it. Whether it's subway molesters or guys drizzling beer on you at concerts.

In real life I would physically move my body from such people and/or shove them. Online, all I can do is mute, block, and ignore.

I don't like QRT1)/dunking. I don't want to engage with assholes or see their shitty takes on my timeline.

Minors

i've largely abandoned “minors dni” as a label in my bio, mainly because i believe minors should be able to talk to an adult that isnt in their immediate surroundings, but also because i was a minor once upon a time and without the few adults who did talk to me, i would have been completely ignorant of what was to come in early adulthood, i would have been so much more naïve and susceptible to manipulation, so on and so forth

My posts are very crude and meant for adults. I can't stop kids from accessing whatever they want online, be it shock videos or pornography. I remember being a curious kid too, and I don't think demanding IDs or other identifying information online is safe at all. But I also don't think that kids should be talking to adults about gore and porn, especially if they're self-identifying their underage status.

I may mute and/or block under-18's online as needed. If an under-18 messages me about art advice, I do try to be helpful.
