+I usually draw illustrations and comics for exchanges.  In my mind, sequential art can match up with the longer narratives of fics - you'd spend at least 5 seconds looking at the comic page with multiple panels, rather than 1 second skimming over the single drawing I drew right?!  At the very least it's a good mental workout to create short comics in a tight deadline.
