 +
 +Everyone was really nice, we did a couple of zine n sticker trades, and we got a surprising amount of fujo talk for a non-fujo-themed event 😄 shoutouts to the people who recognized the ai no kusabi print... And shoutouts to my bigass tomato that's finally turned red after a month.
 +
 +I'm kinda laffing that I did all pet doodles and 0 humans (or otherwise? Fursonas?! Fav characters? ), maybe next time I should have an example of a person out too :p or maybe people just love seeing their pets more than themselves!! Still tryna find the balance between displaying my live drawing vs trying to show off my comix!!!
 +
 +Thanks so much to all the super cool vendors with super cool art, and to the super cool staff for making sure we all had food and water and atmosphere 😄 and to the happy customers who chain-mailed each other into getting their pet drawn.
 +=====Pros:=====
 +
 +  * The staff were great.  They were going around looking at art, making sure we were OK, and refilling the water and food for everyone.
 +  * The venue was cozy and fun, I loved the zines hanging from the ceiling.
 +  * Speaking of water... water dispensed from a cooler, with options for cold, warm, and hot.  It's great to just get up and get water for yourself!
 +  * Cool artist culture, people trade and talk to each other, very supportive.  People brought their own tables and chairs to share with each other!  Our table buddy, xohzero, told a lot of their friends to get a doodle from us haha.
 +  * It's closer to us than Durham/Raleigh, 1 hr of travel vs 2 hours.
 +  * Mostly print material, rather than mass-manufactured stuff like charms and pins.  I like print material.
 +  * Great inspiration for us to make a bunch of new zines!  And great inspiration from seeing everyone else's work, zines can be anything...
 +=====Cons:=====
 +
 +  * Small space with little air conditioning means it was a little warm.  It wasn't HOT, but just a bit over room temperatuer.  They did suggest bringing a personal fan, which we WERE GONNA but then we forgot to pack it in the trunk ahah.
 +=====Would you go again?:=====
 +
 +Yes, I would love to come back to GSO Zine Fest again, whenever we can, all the way from Charlotte :p
 +!  I would like to bring more small objects like free stickers and mini zines to use the half-table space much better.
